    Cardiopulmonary Physical Therapy Journal
    Available to all APTA members thru ProQuest in Open Door. Access through the section's website is available only to section members. (Login required.) Official publication of the Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Section of APTA, highlights research in the areas of cardiovascular and pulmonary disease, health and wellness, and the role that physical therapists play in the management of primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention. Mission: to advance patient care, education and research in these areas.

Official publication of the Section on Health Policy & Administration (HPA), featuring articles on physical therapy administration, management, and health policy, as well as news items of interest to HPA members. PTJ-PAL: Physical Therapy Journal of Policy, Administration, and Leadership is a peer-reviewed supplement to HPA Resource.

    International Journal of Sports Physical Therapy
    Available to members and the public thru PubMed Central. Formerly titled North American Journal of Sports Physical Therapy. A publication of the APTA Sports Physical Therapy Section (SPTS). Official journal of the International Federation of Sports Physiotherapy (IFSP). Addresses current physical therapy trends and practices to improve the care of the recreationally active individual.

    Journal of Acute Care Physical Therapy
    The past 4 issues of JACPT are available to Acute Care Section members via the JACPT Archive. (Section member login required.) Older issues and articles available from the section's executive office for a fee.

    Journal of Aquatic Physical Therapy
    Visit the Aquatic Section for more information. The historic archive is available for viewing by Aquatic Section members. (Section member login required.) PDF copies of articles are available by e-mail; see order form for details.

    Journal of Geriatric Physical Therapy
    Available to section members and subscribers thru Lippincott, Williams, & Wilkins (LWW). (Section member login required.) The LWW site includes a "most popular collection" with several free-access articles. Selected historical articles are available to all APTA members thru ProQuest in Open Door. Scholarly and peer-reviewed resource that provides key evidence to assist physical therapists striving to enhance optimal aging, improve functional performance, and provide effective rehabilitation for aging adults.

    Journal of Neurologic Physical Therapy
    Available to Neurology Section members and subscribers through Lippincott, Williams, & Wilkins (LWW). (Section member login required.) Has an "open access collection." Selected historical articles available to all APTA members thru ProQuest in Open Door. Peer-reviewed, indexed resource for advancing neurologic physical therapy practice through the dissemination of definitive evidence, translation of clinically relevant knowledge, and integration of theory into education, practice, and research.

    Journal of Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy (JOSPT)
    Available to Orthopaedic Section and Sports Section members and subscribers through the journal website. (Login required.) All practice guidelines and articles older than 3 years available to the public. Mission: to publish scientifically rigorous, clinically relevant content for physical therapists and others in the health care community to advance musculoskeletal and sports-related practice.

    Journal of Physical Therapy Education
    Available to Education Section members. All APTA members have access to the publication thru ProQuest in Open Door.

    Journal of Women's Health Physical Therapy
    Available to Women's Health Section members and subscribers thru Lippincott, Williams, & Wilkins. (Section member login required.) Actively seeks manuscripts for the following topics as they relate to physical therapy: urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, chronic pain, pregnancy-related pain, lymphedema, osteoporosis, menopause, and other women's health issues.
